I am a retired graduate teacher, Masters in Religious History, concentration in Women and Religion, I taught at John F Kennedy University in the East Bay for 10 years. My interests are Women mystics, monastics, theologians and philosophers; Jungian studies, and the Sophiology of the Russian Emigre movement. My past books include Women Saints by Crossroad; and Women at the Change, which is a transpersonal look at women's developmental cycles. I also have a deep interest in iconography and have traveled and taken photos of hundereds of icons at monasteries and churches throughout the country. My icon website is at: www.byzantineimages.com. It is also where I post current articles that are unpublished. Currently I am writing about the iconography and symbolism of the Theotokos and the role of Sophia and the Holy Spirit in Marian studies. My work also appears in Theandros, an online Orthodox journal.
